A24 Releases Official Synopsis for Civil War, Their Biggest Budget Film Ever

Alex Garland's upcoming film Civil War, released by A24, has officially released its synopsis and it sounds like we will have an intelligent, dystopian action film on our hands.

This is A24's biggest budget film to date, with a budget of $50 million, and it is seeking to make some box office dollars this coming weekend. Civil War explores a team of military-embedded journalists that must travel across the country to DC, while a civil war brews. The film will follow the team "as they race against time to reach DC before rebel factions descend upon the White House."

Civil War is set to release in theaters this weekend, but you can still see other films in limited releases, such as Sasquatch Sunset, Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead, The Greatest Hits, Sting, Arcadian, LaRoy, Texas, and Damaged.
