Dwarf Fortress Released Dwarf Fortress 50.12, 50.11, and 50.10

New Features, Changes, and Fixes

Dwarf Fortress has released three new versions since our last update! They are 50.12 (February 23, 2024), 50.11 (October 3, 2023), and 50.10 (June 28, 2023). These releases include a variety of new features, changes, and fixes. Here are some of the most notable ones:

  1. 50.12 (February 23, 2024): This version includes a new tutorial, fixes for the Linux and Mac versions, and an option for multithreading to improve performance.
  2. 50.11 (October 3, 2023): This version includes fixes for the Linux and Mac versions, returning the game log, and work toward report/announcement persistence.
  3. 50.10 (June 28, 2023): This version includes baby animals, more crop pictures, boulders, an autosave fix, and the return of legends XML export.
