Mavericks' Dynamic Duo Irving and Doncic Torch Timberwolves in Western Conference Finals

The Dallas Mavericks defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves 108-105 in Game 1 of the Western Conference finals, thanks to the explosive performances of Kyrie Irving and Luka Doncic. Irving scored 24 of his team-high 30 points in the first half, while Doncic scored 15 of his 33 points in the fourth quarter, including a crucial step-back jumper to give the Mavericks a four-point lead with 49 seconds remaining. This game showcased the deadly tandem of Irving and Doncic, who combined for 63 points. Despite Indiana Fever's 0-5 start, No. 1 overall pick Caitlin Clark is playing well, averaging 17.8 points, 5.8 assists, and 4.6 rebounds per game. This Friday, Clark will face Brink and fellow rookie Rickea Jackson when the Sparks host the Fever.
