Microsoft and OpenAI warn of nation-state abuse of ChatGPT

  • Iran-linked APT group Crimson Sandstorm
  • North Korea-linked APT group Emerald Sleet
  • Russia-linked APT group Forest Blizzard

The report also details the specific abuses of AI services by each APT group, including using AI to generate phishing emails and conduct reconnaissance.
