Netflix's 'Eric' and 'Dancing for the Devil' Top Weekly Series Chart, While 'Bridgerton' Continues to Sustain

As per the latest data released by Netflix, for the week of May 31 to June 6, here are the top 10 ranked movies and TV shows in terms of minutes watched in English-language markets:

  6. TV: Under the Bridge - 257.8 million minutes watched
  7. TV: Evil - 231.2 million minutes watched
  8. TV: The Acolyte - 210 million minutes watched
  9. TV: Raising Voices - 203.9 million minutes watched
  10. Movie: Atlas - 432.4 million minutes watched

The data reveals that Netflix's new interactive episode of Black Mirror, entitled Eric, has dominated the chart in terms of the highest number of minutes watched. The thriller stars Benedict Cumberbatch and is comprised of three episodes, totalling 5 hours and 12 minutes in duration. However, in terms of views, the TikTok documentary series Dancing for the Devil: The 7M TikTok Cult overtakes Eric with an estimated 4.4 million people who watched the series, compared to 3.3 million for Eric.

Season 3 of Bridgerton continues to sustain its popularity, ranking in the top 5 for the week, although it does gradually lag behind the previous week's numbers. The other previous seasons of Bridgerton also made the cut, along with Under the Bridge and Evil. Two new TV titles joined the chart this week: the new Star Wars derivative series The Acolyte landed at No. 8 with 210 million minutes watched in its first three days of availability for Episodes 1 and 2; and the Spanish series Raising Voices at the bottom with 203.9 million minutes watched in its first week.

In the movie category, the weekly rankings remained almost unchanged from the previous week. Jennifer Lopez's Atlas topped the chart for a second week in a row with 432.4 million minutes watched. Colors of Evil: Red followed with 408.1 million minutes, though it incrementally led the chart in terms of views. Die Hart 2: Die Harter took third place with 225.1 million minutes watched and 2.4 million views, while Under Paris followed with 167.2 million minutes and 1.7 million views. Mother of the Bride remained on the chart, this time at No. 5 with 136.2 million minutes watched and 1.5 million views.

The rest of the movie chart sat at or below 100 million minutes watched and below 1 million views: Bionic, Thelma the Unicorn, The Idea of You, The Blue Angels, and Unfrosted.
