Netflix has another pricey epic this month with 3 Body Problem, the adaptation of the first novel in the trilogy by Chinese author Liu Cixin that also inspired the Oscar-nominated 2021 film The Three-Body Problem. The eight-episode season is directed by David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, the makers of Game of Thrones, and, like that series, it promises to be a mind-bending, sometimes perplexing watch.
